There are many events throughout the year, including field shows, competitions, concerts, and fundraisers. Every student tries their best to practice new routines a few days a week after school, working together to achieve the ultimate goal of preparing for competitions in the fall. Each competition demands not only personal commitment but also the best performance from each team member. The level of teamwork directly influences the outcome.

Parents play an essential role during these events. Without parental participation, accomplishing anything would be impossible. As parents join the Instrumental Musical Booster program (IMB), IMB helps deliver musical instruments, food, and water to the competition site. Parents, through IMB, also ensure safety checks for all students, from leaving high school to arriving at the competition site and safely returning to school.

At Mark Keppel Band & Color Guard, we not only value and ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow as much as possible and provide them with a platform to achieve their goals, but we also cherish the time we spend together and strive to make every minute count, ensuring that students treasure the connections they make among one another."
